FROM GRAPE TO WINE AND MARKET

Studies on the traditional Greek wine development and techniques

The course focuses on wine cultivation and bottle production techniques based on traditional Greek practices and recipes.

We focus of the achievement of experiences and knowledge on biological and conventional cultivation of grapes, vine cultivation techniques, pruning systems, phyto-sanitary methods. Further on, we examine wine production traditional Greek techniques and condition such as estimation of the most appropriate time for harvest, production of red wines, white wines, DOC wines.

Our experts give detailed and practical information on aspects of quality control and quality assurance systems in wineries, ISO 22000 in particular, communication plan & product placement – branding, marketing plan/export plan, commercial negotiation techniques.

At the end of the project, participants received “An ACHAIA Education Winery Training Certificate” that verifies learned new techniques and methods that will be valuable in the future in their labor market.

Furthermore educators and theirs students will be able to build identity and community classes through collaborative and creative practices.
